The Southern Gourmet

Welcome to The Southern Gourmet! Well I guess this is my first blog post (well sort of) so it should be pretty interesting right? I say well sort of because I have used blogger before. However, it was not to write to the world but to plague them with shameless SEO tactics. I know I'm as ashamed by it as you are. Sometimes you have to be the proverbial lemming in order to get ahead. Okay back to the topic at hand. I wanted to create this blog so that I have a way to keep myself on track. My main objective is to create a new gourmet food dish each week and then blog about it. I will inform you of my successes as well as my dismal failures as I explore the world of Gourmet Food! I must warn you as you can probably tell I am some what the amature chef. I will try to take photographs of everything as I go but no promises as to how they will turn out as that too is a work in progress! I will be getting all of my products and most of my ideas from this website here. I will also look for additional insperation from different directories as well. If you want to send me some recipe ideas that you would love to see me make then please email me!
